TRAVEL INSURANCE
Whether or not to take trip protection insurance is an important decision to make in the planning of your vacation.
Unforeseen events happen everyday. Family members can become ill resulting in trip cancellations; delays are commonplace; even luggage can be lost or stolen.
Insurance that is purchased through cruise lines and tour operators, for the most part, is excellent coverage. However, there are things that they do not cover, that third party insurance does. Please read the coverage portion of your insurance before purchasing and be sure you understand it thoroughly, as all insurance policies have exclusions and restrictions.
Two of the major things that insurance purchased through most cruise lines or tour operators does not cover is pre-existing conditions as well as financial default of the tour company or cruise line, resulting in complete cessation of services or filling of bankruptcy. Third party insurance does and that is why we recommend Travel Guard Insurance.
